The Melissa Odabash brand has now been established for over 10 years and is distributed in over 240 luxury department stores and boutiques across the globe. It is often referred to as the beachwear and cruise wear collection for the stars and celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Elle MacPherson, Halle Berry and our own Kate Middleton all chose Melissa Odabash when holidaying.

Today, Melissa Odabash is one of the leading bikini designers in the world, but before becoming a designer, Melissa started her career modelling in Milan for top Italian designers and this gave her the idea of creating her own brand. She simply thought that she could produce products that were better than anything on the market at that time. Her first bikinis were created by hand and she personally took them around all of the chic ladies boutiques in Milan. All of her designs both then and now have been inspired by Italian fashion using high quality fabrics and always with timeless elegance as the objective.

Her big design breakthrough came in 2004 when she was appointed as designer to Speedo, the iconic sportswear brand to develop a high end collection for men and woman to celebrate their 75th anniversary. She has not looked back since. Her first collections were photographed by the famous singer and songwriter, Bryan Adams and were regularly worn by celebrities including Jerry Hall and Naomi Campbell.

From her iconic early zebra print designs in her now famous Victoria’s Secrets Catalogue through to elegant kaftans and evening dresses, Melissa Odabash designs are now leading the way in designer cruise wear. The British magazine vogue named her collections the Ferraris of the bikini world.

More recently she has designed many of the costumes for Alexandra Burke and has been working closely with another supermodel, Elle McPherson in the Britain’s Next Top Model series. Additionally she has worked with much acclaimed fashion designer Julien Macdonald and the pair of them launched their latest collections at the Miami Swim Week.

Juste Moi was honoured to have been appointed a representative in 2010 and latest 2012 bikini designs stocked include Ecuador, Flamingo, Martinique, Vegas and Bahamas. The exiting 2012 kaftan collections include Barrie, Camila, Daniela, Dora, Natalie and Sharize. Melissa Odabash has always been noted for her stylish and elegant cowboy hats and cruise wear hats and styles stocked in Dartmouth include the Elle Woven hat and the Jemima hat.

It was recently classified as one of the best 50 boutiques outside of London by the Daily Telegraphs Stella Magazine.
